Now, this is a true British classic - gun club check in a mix of browns and greens, with touches of navy and beige to help it blend effortlessly into modern color palettes. However, the fabric isn’t your typical tweed - this woven in England, mid-weight (400g), densely-woven lambswool offers a pleasantly soft and comfortable hand.
It’s a versatile piece that can be styled either very classic - with gray tailored trousers, plain white or blue shirt and a dark tie - or more casually, with a denim shirt and/or a pair of jeans, perhaps layered with knitwear for extra texture. And if you’re feeling adventurous, you can always embrace the full British Country look, pairing it with trousers and accessories in earth tones - there’s no harm in going all in!
