Green and Brown Check Overcoat

Often the loudest of the fabrics look the best in the simplest of the cuts - hence we have turned this beautiful checked Lovat 500g tweed cloth into an easy, full length, single-breasted overcoat.

It hits below the knee (even mid-calf on some silhouettes) and features no unnecessary details, keeping it simple: 5-button fly closure, set-in sleeves, stand-up collar and sleeve straps for the extra cold protection.

Although it will go well with the tailoring (especially in dark, textured fabrics), we see it as a more casual coat, best thrown over cozy layers - think thick knitwear, sweatshirts, hoodies even - for an easy Sunday morning or an autumnal afternoon stroll. Its weight makes it a perfect transitional coat, suitable for chilly autumn days and warm european winters.

For the classic, comfortable fit, we advise you to choose the same size in our coats as in our suits and sportcoats.

However, if you own any coat from our previous collections and like the fit, you might consider sizing down as we made a few adjustments to make the fit a bit roomier - see the size chart for the exact measurements. Also, mind that all of our coats now feature longer sleeves to accommodate for the taller guys.
