Black Homburg Hat

Sometimes, we find ourselves venturing into very classic, even vintage territory - creating pieces deeply rooted in the past but which we believe can still be worn to great effect today.

This fall/winter season, to complement the ‘modern vintage’ vibe of our November drop, we thought of the black Homburg hat - a style that reminds us of Winston Churchill’s iconic look (especially when paired with a striped flannel suit) and Wojciech Korfanty, whom we have featured on a limited-edition pocket square to celebrate Polish National Independence Day.

The hat is made in Skoczów by Polkap, a local hat manufacturer with 100 years of history (they celebrated their centennial earlier this year!), from black wool and finished with a leather sweatband on the inside. If you’re into hats, you’ll find it a great accessory for formal settings!
