People Behind -P- Working Class

With the launch of our first Poszetka Working Class collection, you might have noticed some new faces in the lookbook. But who are they? What do they do? And how do their lives intersect with the clothes? Meet Mikołaj, Dawid, Jacek, Dominika, and Grzegorz, captured by Jacek Taranko in their natural work environments.
To present this sub-label and its ethos, we invited friends - tailoring fans or not - to style the pieces their way, blending them with favorites from their personal wardrobes to create authentic, everyday outfits. These individuals embody the 'contemporary working class' as we see it, working in modern professions quite different from those of the mid-20th century.
Like us, they are passionate about their work - and clothes! Their busy lives are inextricably linked to what they do, and for this kind of lifestyle, classic workwear remains as relevant as ever. Rooted in the past, these pieces excel in comfort, practicality, versatility and durability; all timeless virtues. In today’s context it is not workwear per se - these are well-made classics (Everyday Classics, even!) that fit perfectly into the modern lifestyles for those who don’t have to, don’t want to, or simply can’t dress up… at least not for work.

Mikołaj
Meet Mikołaj: engineer, father of three, amateur tennis player… and a 99% retired blogger* you might know as Blue Loafers. He certainly has an eye for style, but with three young kids and a packed schedule, overshirts and casual jackets have become his go-to choices!
For his casual office look, he opted for a denim chore coat layered over a gray sweatshirt and a blue OCBD shirt, paired with Poszetka denim, keeping a camo jacket handy for additional outerwear. The outfit was completed with his favorite pair of sneakers and a trusty canvas bag.

*oh, by the way - we talked to Mikołaj about that. In fact, we talked for pretty long and recorded our conversation… so expect much more from him soon. In fact, he is a guest in another Poszetka project that we will be releasing shortly, the Everyday Classic magazine.

Dawid
This is Dawid: specialty coffee roaster (shoutout to the HAYB team!) and drummer in his free time. Double physical!
We captured him at work, right beside the coffee roasting machine, wearing a simple workday outfit consisting of a gray sweatshirt, camo pants, and his signature bandana. He completed the look with his work clogs and a custom-made -P- Working Class apron (something we’ll definitely talk about later!).

Jacek
Next up is Jacek - not only our friend but also the creative mind behind the -P- Working Class ‘WWCCC’ visual identity, Mr. Graphic Designer himself (a multiple award-winning one, to be precise!).
For his studio portrait, he chose a buffalo plaid wool jacket over a heavy-duty T-shirt and rust-colored work pants, finished off with his favorite sneakers and a dad cap. Tailoring doesn’t quite fit the creative environment he works in, but Jacek still values timeless design, high-quality craftsmanship, and durability. Also, as a father of a young child, he tends to choose clothing that develops natural wear and patina, ensuring it ages gracefully - making workwear a perfect match for his lifestyle.

Dominika
One of the people we couldn’t imagine our -P- Working Class series without is Dominika (@domtargosz) – a food creative, culinary consultant, and pop-up chef. She’s also one of the few women who can style menswear pieces in a surprising and effortless way that inspires us all!
We met and photographed her at Hala Mirowska market while she was shopping for her next culinary workshop. She carried her groceries in our canvas tote bag, wearing a denim chore coat and white work shirt from the collection. Dominika plays with the silhouette, pairing these pieces with ultra-wide pants and tabi shoes from her own wardrobe.

Grzegorz
The final portrait in our -P- Working Class series features Grzegorz (@grzegorzsipiora), a photographer and videographer, captured backstage during our studio photoshoot. His outfit reflects his preferences and needs - he values pockets, relaxed fits, and comfort - essential for long working hours on set, sometimes 12+ hours straight. Of course, he appreciates when form follows function, so classic workwear is the perfect choice for this job.
For the shoot, having to appear on the both sides of the lens, Grzegorz chose to wear his go-to pieces: a simple white tee with a pocket (because you can never have too many!), an olive HBT utility shirt (sleeves rolled-up), and a pair of Poszetka denim in a new black color (coming soon!), completing the look with his favorite beanie and well-worn boots.
