In common speech, they are usually referred to as striped ties. They are designed and sewn in thousands of variations in colour and material, most often without reference to their historical origins. They are extremely versatile, although contrary to common belief, they are not suitable for every occasion.
Less than two weeks ago, the first episode of the sixth season of Peaky Blinders was released. On this occasion, we prepared for you the first part of a session inspired by this series, in cooperation with the Wrocławski Tor Wyścigów Konnych Partynice. There are certain stylistic solutions that affect our imagination in unique ways. Whether we want it or not, our brain affiliates certain things with contexts, movie stills, connotations. I mention it because I think that the so called power suit has a very special place in our minds.
