Summer’s over! Well, maybe not technically - the calendar says otherwise - but we all know that September always brings a change. As we return from vacation and temperatures begin to drop (quickly or slowly, depending on where you live), it’s the perfect time to celebrate the shifting seasons with the classics.

 

It’s the best time of the year to dress up without the need for heavy layering; you can put on a suit and tie and neither suffer from an immediate heatstroke nor freeze without a heavy coat and woolen scarf. Before true autumn arrives, when you’ll find yourself reaching for cozy sweaters, thick tweeds, and comfy flannels, take this opportunity to fully appreciate the timeless appeal of worsted suitings, elegant silk ties, and leather-soled shoes… or at least proper-weight jeans, versatile OCBDs, and cotton raincoats, if you’re leaning more towards the casual side.
