Brown & Blue Houndstooth Tweed Hunting Jacket

We’ve long wanted to create a hunting jacket, but not the typical one; as much as we appreciate the waxed cotton British classics, we wanted to approach it differently - our way.

First off, we wanted the fabric to define the garment, giving it both figurative and literal weight. The Scottish tweed we used is quite heavy (480g - heavier than your usual sportcoat, but lighter than an overcoat), so we stripped away most of the lining, keeping it only in the sleeves and over the shoulders for ease when putting it on or taking it off. This design makes the jacket practical for city life, where you’re constantly moving in and out of buildings and transport. However, when the cold really hits, you can button it up fully (chin strap included!), tighten the cuffs, and warm your hands in the dedicated pockets for comfortable insulation.

The cut is designed so you can wear it over a sportcoat (or even a whole suit) - the brown and navy houndstooth pattern complements much of our seasonal tailoring - but it also works beautifully as the centerpiece of your outfit, thrown over a sweater or light overshirt.
