Mushroom Shetland Cable Knit Crewneck

We believe there is no substitute for proper Shetland knitwear - so once again, for the fall/winter season, we are introducing a range of these beautiful knits made for us in the North-East of Scotland by a nearly century-old knitting company, using locally spun wool from Shetland-variety sheep.

This ‘mushroom’ colored cable knit offers an interesting blend of beige, brown, and gray tones, fitting seamlessly into both city and country color palettes. To enrich its texture, we’ve opted for a double-brushed finish, a detail we usually reserve for our plain crewnecks, adding a touch of casual softness and extra coziness.

Our Shetland knitwear generally wears warm, so you can definitely wear it on its own, as a casual alternative for a jacket - however, it will also look great as a layering piece for those chillier days, introducing a subtle pop of color and texture into your outfit.

Care Guide:

This sweater can be either dry cleaned (which is ultimately what we recommend) or hand-washed - if you choose the latter option, please use only a wool friendly detergent in cool water. Dry flat and gently reshape whilst still damp.

Please note wool does not need to be washed as much, because it naturally resists moisture and bacteria.
