Sage Green Cotton Moleskin Field Jacket

Taking style cues from the well-known "Jungle Jacket" (part of the US Army TCU uniform), we've designed our version - a little less military-esque, a little more city-appropriate field jacket. All of our favorite details are there: two slanted chest pockets and two bellowed hip pockets, all four with angular flaps; a shirt collar that can easily be raised to protect the wearer; button barrel cuffs that let you button them snugly - along with some new additions, such as a box pleat and a practical inner breast pocket.

We deliberately made our field jacket heavier and more suitable as proper outerwear (rather than just an overshirt) by cutting it from dense cotton moleskin. To differentiate it from its military origins, we opted for a more civilian, light sage green color (almost grey in artificial light) instead of the typical olive.

Thanks to all this, it's a versatile casual jacket that you can throw over your daily business attire or wear on weekends with jeans and knitwear. Think of it as something nice to have for spring when you need an additional layer for the still-cold mornings and evenings, but preferably one that can be easily stuffed into your bag during the daytime and carried around.
