Green Grenadine Tie (Grossa)

The fabric comes from Italian Como with rich traditions in the silk production.  An exceptional weave of silk fibres forms a rare and prestigious fabric known as grenadine. In its traditional version, the material is woven on antique looms for the jacquard production. Only two workshops in the world are capable of meeting this challenge. Grenadine ties are referred to as the ties of Her Majesty’s agent, as famous James Bond had a liking for them. Because the fabric is susceptible to deforming, we don't attach keeper loops to our grenadine ties.
